Our breeding program is currently taking shape, and we are not yet expecting or offering kittens.

At Griffinwood, we believe the earliest weeks of a kitten's life help lay the foundation for a lifetime of confidence, curiosity, and companionship.
Our planned nursery program will combine attentive daily care, age-appropriate enrichment, gentle handling, and carefully introduced experiences that support healthy physical, emotional, and behavioral development.
As each kitten grows, we'll observe their individual personality, comfort with new experiences, playfulness, and interactions with people. These observations will help guide our Griffinwood Match process, allowing us to thoughtfully consider which families and environments may best suit each kitten.
Our goal isn't simply to raise beautiful Maine Coons. It's to give every kitten a thoughtful beginning and help prepare them for the extraordinary life waiting beyond our nursery.

We believe finding the right family is just as important as raising the right kitten. Our planned placement process is designed to be personal, transparent, and centered on the well-being of every cat in our care.

02 | Introduce Yourself
Our short initial application invites you to share a little about your household, lifestyle, and hopes for a future companion. We’ll follow up with a questionnaire or conversation, with questions provided beforehand.
03 | The Griffinwood Match
As kittens develop, we'll observe their personalities, confidence, energy levels, and individual needs. These observations will help us thoughtfully consider potential matches between kittens and approved families.
04 | Prepare for Homecoming
Once a placement is confirmed, we'll help families prepare for their kitten's arrival with guidance, updates, and information about their care and transition home.
05 | A Lifetime of Connection
Our commitment doesn't end at homecoming. We hope to remain a trusted resource for Griffinwood families throughout their cats' lives.
A Companion for Life
Griffinwood kittens will be placed as companions without breeding rights. Spay/neuter requirements and timing will be discussed before reservation and documented in the placement agreement, with consideration for veterinary guidance and each kitten’s health.
